TEDxBroadway 2019 might be a wrap, but we’re working hard behind the scenes to get this year’s videos online. And, well, we just couldn’t wait to share Sammi Cannold’s talk with you.

In her talk, the young director shares her experience researching for a new production of Evita (at New York City Center November 13-24). Her conversations with Eva Perón’s nurse and confidant taught her to feel the weight of a storyteller’s responsibility.
