It's official: TEDxBroadway returns September 24, 2019
“What’s the Best Broadway Can Be?”
The TEDxBroadway organizers will once again fill the stage with a myriad of speakers to tackle this mission critical question Tuesday, September 24, 2019. (Grab your tickets now!)
Co-founders Damian Bazadona of Situation Interactive and Jim McCarthy, CEO of Goldstar, are moving the annual one-day event, which has been traditionally held in February, to the fall of next year.
“We decided wanted to move the event to the Fall when it really feels like the start of the new season,” says Damian. “It somehow seems right to kick it off with big, fresh, new ideas that will help us all reach the goal of making Broadway the best it can be.”
“The TEDxBroadway team has already started scouting the planet for speakers who have something truly compelling and unique to add to the conversation,” adds Jim. “And, while we’ll announce speakers soon, it says a lot about this event that so many people buy their tickets without knowing who is speaking. It really speaks volumes and tell us this is something our community really values.”
TEDxBroadway has featured a distinguished list of speakers over its 7-year history including: Jordan Roth, Diane Paulus, Shaina Taub, Daryl Roth, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Lauren Ridloff, Robert Lopez, Terry Teachout and George Takei to name just a few. The event has also sold out each year since it debuted in 2012.
Registration for the TEDxBroadway conference will begin at 1:15PM on September 24, 2019. Tickets are on sale now for $100.
