A beautiful reminder of our incredible community

A few weeks ago, we were so happy to announce that TEDxBroadway was set to return virtually on Tuesday, November 17 at 1PM ET.

What happened next is truly remarkable. 

Many of you went to Stellar to purchase your tickets and saw that in addition to a $40 general admission ticket, there’s also an option to buy a $100 ticket to help subsidize tickets for those in our community who’ve been significantly impacted by the shutdown. And, well, many chose to help. Without prompting, without a word about this in the announcement -- people just did it.

We’re so grateful. 

Broadway is the BEST it can be because of the many people who help others, even when times are hard for everyone. Times are extremely tough right now, and this was truly a beautiful reminder of our incredible community. 

We do have a lot of people who’ve entered for the free lottery and we’ll be able to add more and more if this keeps up. We hope it does! The more people who come together to shape a better future, the bigger, stronger and better our community becomes.
